Renowned not only for its hot springs, Gunma Prefecture is one of Japan’s major industrial hubs. Its GDP surpasses that of Kumamoto and ranks within the top third nationwide. Recognizing Gunma’s strong industrial foundation and the asset-revitalization opportunities arising from Japan’s demographic transition, CHUANG-XI Information and Technology (CXIT) has partnered with Taiwan-based strategic allies in AI computing and energy storage to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Daiei Sangyo Group.

This collaboration marks the launch of a cross-border initiative, starting in Gunma, to develop AI high-performance computing (HPC) centers and smart energy infrastructure across Japan, transforming underutilized sites into next-generation AI computing hubs.

CXIT Chairman Cheng-Lun Chen stated:

“In the AI-driven era, computing power is national power. By integrating our strengths in AI system integration, energy management, and information security, CXIT is committed—through international collaboration and strategic partnerships—to building next-generation AI supercomputing centers that deliver high performance, sustainability, and cyber resilience. These efforts will play a critical role in the global AI industry value chain.”
